The key step in the production of carbon steel rubber-lined pipes is vulcanization. The vulcanization temperature is 135℃, the vulcanization pressure is 3.5 kg, and the vulcanization is maintained at a constant temperature for 2.5 hours. Sandblasting is a crucial step in the process of producing carbon steel rubber-lined pipe fittings, playing a vital role in enhancing the adhesion between the steel inner wall and the rubber.
Inspection methods for carbon steel rubber-lined pipes include leakage current testing using an electric spark tester, thickness testing using a thickness gauge, and hardness testing, which depends on the type of rubber sheet and the time and temperature during the vulcanization process. Visual inspection and bonding surface checks are also required.
Carbon steel rubber-lined pipe fittings conform to standard HG21501-93, and flange standards are GB/T 9119-2010. The length of a single pipe is usually no more than 6 meters, and the common diameter range is DN80mm to DN800mm. Carbon steel rubber-lined pipes are suitable for working conditions with abrasive media, to distinguish them from plastic-lined steel pipes.
