End Closure Fitting for Hot Media Pipelines
This fitting closes the end of a CPVC pipe in hot media systems. It is also called a CPVC plug or CPVC end cover. You install it at the end of a pipeline or at reserved connection points. It prevents media leakage and keeps foreign materials out of the pipe. The socket-type design uses solvent cement bonding for a permanent seal. The fitting inherits CPVC's heat resistance up to 93°C. You will use it for end closures in hot water piping systems. It also works for temporarily closing ports during pressure testing. And it serves as protection for reserved connections that are not yet in use.
