Valve Cleaning Steps

Before assembly, valve components must undergo the following processes:

Depending on processing requirements, some components require polishing, ensuring the surface is free of burrs;

All components undergo degreasing;

After degreasing, undergo acid pickling and passivation using a phosphorus-free cleaning agent;

After acid pickling and purification, rinse thoroughly with pure water, ensuring no chemical residue remains. This step is omitted for carbon steel components;

Each component is wiped dry with a non-woven cloth, ensuring no lint or other residue remains on the surface, or dried with clean nitrogen;

Each component is then wiped with a non-woven cloth or precision filter paper dampened with analytical grade alcohol until no stains remain.
